My Mask

I have started my paper mache and it looks great. The tentacles were hard to paper mache, because they are so squiggly and it was hard to get my hand around them. My mask isn't hard yet but hopefuly by the next coat of paper mache, it will start to get harder. The tip of the octopus' head isn't smooth, so I will have to put more paper mache over it, to smooth out the little gaps in it and to bring it all to the same level.

Art Reflection

During this lesson we first used charcoal sticks to draw a stuffed animal as quick as we could. The animal that I drew was a husky. After a few goes of drawing with charcoal sticks, we then used a broken paddle-pop stick dipped in ink to draw another animal as quick as we could, but this time we used ink instead of charcoal. We could’ve changed animals but I decided to draw the husky again.
