During this lesson we first used charcoal sticks to draw a stuffed animal as quick as we could. The animal that I drew was a husky. After a few goes of drawing with charcoal sticks, we then used a broken paddle-pop stick dipped in ink to draw another animal as quick as we could, but this time we used ink instead of charcoal. We could’ve changed animals but I decided to draw the husky again.

What I want my Mask to Look Like and the Colours I Hope to use
3 hints to help you draw realistically: ~Hold the pen/pencil/stick at the end, so that it can move freely. ~ Set up your paper so that it is facing the object that you are drawing/painting. ~ You can create texture by sketching short, random lines to the picture fur.

Elements of Art
Line:
#Line seems to be one of the important Elements of Art. # Imagine creating a painting, sculpture or design without drawing lines to divide the paper or canvas into recognizable shapes and forms. #Lines can communicate an idea or express a feeling. # They can appear static or active. #Lines define objects.
Tone (Value)
# Value refers to the lightness or darkness of a color. # The benefits of knowing how to manage Value are very important to artists who work two-dimensional striving to make their subjects, or the objects in their work, "look" three-dimensional. Light effects a true three-dimensional object in unique ways.
The Patterns and Textures of my Mask
These are the scales of a bubble eye goldfish.
I have decided to use the scales of a green tree snake for the texture of my mask.
I am using the blue rings of the octopus as the pattern of my mask.
